The Five Cities-Pismo Beach branch of AAUW supports the following endeavors:

• Eager Readers – Supplying books to 3rd and 4th grade students in the Lucia Mar Unified School District
• Tech Trek – Sending local girls to summer STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) camp between the 7th and 8th grades
• Scholarship – Providing local high school seniors with scholarships to college
• Diversity – Educating students in the local AVID programs on college and job application processes
• HERStory: Women in History – Educating the community on noteworthy women’s past accomplishments
• Interbranch – Joining together with other branches of AAUW for enrichment and unification
• Adopt-a-Poll — Branch members staff election precincts during primary and major elections
